Our Core Business
Every day of the week our personnel perform the following main tasks in a professional and responsible manner:
• Collection of residential waste once a week of all Curaçao residences and collection of bulky waste once a month in all neighborhoods.
• Cleaning and sanitizing public areas such as Curaçaos downtown, neighborhoods, public roads and beaches.
• Cleaning up of illegal dumpsites.
• Management of Curaçaos only sanitary landfill and waste transfer station.
• Maintenance of the sewer system.
• Advising the government on waste management and environmental issues.
Selikor also offers advice on all aspects of waste management and offers a wide variety of tailor-made products and services. Our ultimate goal is to assist the customer in keeping their environment clean, which in turn helps Selikor accomplish its mission.
To reinforce this, customers can keep track through our app of community waste pick up schedules and schedule changes due to e.g. holidays with the feature of setting reminders for weekly collections.
Customers can also be informed of other detailed disposal instructions specific to their area. By means of push notifications, we keep our customers up to date of last minutes schedule changes, adapted store opening hours and Selikor events.
